age,
Okay, so i've been doing a lot of thinking about life and how much time i have till it truely starts, (which for me is 18, even though I'm still going to be in highschool I'm still moving out and going to try to live life face on.) And to me it's pretty scary, I mean next year, if I never got held back, I am supposed to be a junior, and me being a freshman right now I look at juniors as light years away. But I got to real life thinking and I realized that I'm suppoesd to be a Junior next year! It all goes by way too fast. I guess it is true when adults say, "The older you get, the faster life comes at you." And I never took it into certification because I just felt so young. And in about 3 months I'm turning 16 and it's just hitting me how much time I dont have left. When you're going from 15 onto 16 it's a huge step. For most people it's when they get their permit and to others its just another year in there life. A lot of kids my age take life as a joke and don't really think about the future which I have no idea how you can not! I mean the future is so near and the deadline to starting real life comes fast and bites you in the ass. Even though I am 15 I know all about bills, taxes, laws, credit cards, credit points, ect... and you can't slack around till last minute to start on anything, I guess that's part of what school teaches you when they give you labs or reports and they give you a deadline telling you to do such and such as well as you can for a high grade. And some people wait till last minute and cram as much information as they can for a decent report. And the people that actually understand start at the begining because they give you a decent amount of time to finish something. If you want to be a buisness executive or a architecture or even a writer, you have a certain deadline that has your job on the line. And if you're smart you start RIGHT away because you know that waiting last minute will get you fired and being fired for being late on a report on a resume does NOT look good on any job and can possibly ruin everything you've ever worked for. So, moral of my lecture, slacking off, procrastination, underestimating, and not providing your top notch quality work on EVERYTHING you do will get you NO where in life. And if you're a kid reading this and you have not yet thought about your future nor have you thought about getting a job, then you need to put your brain on turbo and get your life in order
